Oscar M. Bautista
Oscar brings to David’s Salon his more than 20 years experience in the beauty industry both in the Philippines and Los Angeles. He had his extensive training from the famous Joven Santiago for hair and Fanny Serrano for make-up.
He won numerous awards from the Hairdresser and Cosmetologist Association of the Philippines including the title of Champion in the Regional category for Haircutting/blowdry category. Oscar has also won various awards for makeup with a focus on the art of Bridal makeup.
As a salon owner in Naga, Philippines, he brought his technical expertise from Manila. His great success and achievements as a salon owner led him to venture into the U.S. to complete his evolution as a master artist in hair and makeup.
In 2007, as a Cosmetology Educator, he took courses in Advance Make-up Technique (Corrective and Dramatic) and completed a course in Instructional Techniques in Cosmetology (through Pivot Point International and Mindful Teaching Programs) at the Los Angeles Trade Tech. He also attended an Advance Creative Hair Coloring Course sponsored by L’Oreal.
Oscar is available for creative makeup and hair services at David’s Salon from Tuesday to Saturday.
Rafael Pula
Rafael has always had a passion for hair and design. His pursuit for excellence in the hair industry is attributed to the training he has received. Rafael has trained with Vidal Sassoon , Paul Mitchell, Goldwell, and many others. He also worked for LUKARO Salon in Beverly Hills & Mario & Ellis Jon Condon Salon in Brentwood. His continued pursuit of knowledge to deliver beauty is of utmost importance.
His unique vision and hairstyles incorporate innovative, confident and sexy designs. He understands that the hair is not only an accessory to his client, but also an accessory to fashion. Rafael's signature trademark is classic to modern with an impeccable interpretation of personal style.
Rafael's color vision surpasses the ordinary. His attentive approach to coloring results in a unique and customized design to suit each of his client's needs and desires. Rafael uses a technique of foiling and BALAYAGE ( a european style of hand painting) to achieve a natural looking reflection to your hair. You may see his style in the likes of Hollywood celebrities today.
Rafael's career has led him to work with such celebrities as, Brooke Shields, Avril Lavigne, Blake Lively, Debra Messing and Daisy Fuentes just to name a few. If you have been thinking about creating a new identity with color. Rafael will deliver a customized formula just for you.

Lee Mikuriya
Lee Mikuriya hails from Bacolod City , Philippines and has over 9 years experience in creative hair styling.
She managed and worked in a salon chain in the Philippines for many years before coming here to the United States in 2007. She also shared her talent by doing volunteer work at St. Vincent’s Home for the Aged to cut residents hair.
She has been trained by Wella Professionals, MONEA and L’Oreal in the Philippines in many different facets of cosmetology. She also specializes in in hair rebonding and studied the Japanese Techne Art Hair Rebonding System and Wellastrate Color Rebonding.
Lee is available for hair services at David’s Salon from Wednesday to Sunday.
Cynthia Nuguid
Currently, She is our friendly Friday and weekend Manicurist. She is also available weekdays by appointment.
Cynthia assists in shampooing, blow-drying, and reception work from time to time. She has a gentle touch and will beautifully care for your hands and feet.
